i'm new here...introducing the global oneness project

Posted on May 31st, 2007 by Global Oneness Project : Gaia Child Global Oneness Project
Hi, I'm new here and I wanted to introduce myself and tell all the zaadzters about this amazing project I work for.  My name is Hannah, and I am the creative director of a new web-based video endeavor, called Global Oneness Project.  The project was created discover and document the diverse ways in which the emerging consciousness of oneness is impacting people's lives.  We are traveling worldwide, filming interviews with people from a variety of disciplines, asking them to share their stories about living and working from a perspective of oneness. We're interested in taking the idea of "oneness", or seeing life as an interdependent, interconnected whole, out of a solely spiritual context and ask: what does it mean to live that awareness in our everyday life?  What does oneness look like in the context of business, ecology, social activism and the arts (just to name a few...)?   So far we've traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Ecuador, and we plan on going to Europe, African and Asia next year.  You can check out the stories and interviews and blogs from our travels on our website: www.globalonenessproject.org

One of our most recent short films is called "An Invitation."  It is an interview with Don Alverto TAxo, a master Quechua Iachak (wise man) from the Saraguro region of Ecuador.  At his home in the Andean mountains, Don Alverto shares the wisdom of his ancestors and invites us to look at our lives more broadly in order to see what has real value.  I'm going to try and embed it here:

Don Alverto Taxo: An Invitation

I hope you enjoy!  Please feel free to email me at info@globalonenessproject.org with any ideas or suggestions you have about new people to interview or places to travel.  I look forward to making lots of friends on zaadz, and hearing your own insights on what lived oneness means to you...
